About this Blog
Matthew has been writing for many years, but it wasn't until he received strong encouragement from a couple of his closest friends that he decided to begin publishing his writings on a blog called Writings of an Unworthy Servant. He receives most of his inspiration from observing the challenging struggles he and his friends are facing, which leads him to get in the mud and wrestle with these challenges alongside them.
As a disciple of Jesus, Matthew approaches life's challenges from a biblical worldview which, many times, manifests itself in the unique perspectives he presents. The name Unworthy Servant is a combination of two biblical concepts, one being that he recognizes his unworthiness to receive anything from God, including the chance to write, and the second being that he is, above all else, a servant of the living God.
